The Gaia Summer Camp will run over five days. It will again be a gently exuberant camp, which combines the vitality of live music and dance with relaxation, green living skills, friendship, fun and play. It is set in a beautiful sheltered meadow in North Yorkshire.
At the heart of our work in putting on these camps is the hope that, through living in a beautiful, natural environment for a few days, in structures that support our well being and need for nurturance, we experience a life lived more slowly, creatively and authentically. In amongst the singing, dancing, drumming, green living, wildcraft and artistry, we offer spaces to explore our deeper concerns and to find ways to build a sustainable culture.
We offer high quality workshops as well as space for emerging talent. We encourage and facilitate those skills that often lay dormant because we lack opportunities to share them. We create an environment where people can shine, where we can feel safe to explore, to learn, to relax, to feel connected to self and to the Earth. Here is the space to have conversations about which we feel passionate, to share our ideas and dreams of the world we want. Our camps are places to meet up with friends and make new ones and perhaps, most importantly, where we can have lots of fun! Our hope is that by coming together in this way, we may find ways of taking our experiences back into our lives beyond the camp, feeling rested, renewed and inspired.
Come to our Summer Camp and fill yourself up with play, laughter, wildcraft, dance and song. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the land; the greening trees and May blossom; in deep conversation and community.
